Two identical elaborate diamond dusts. A guaranteed double-take visual, but more interestingly a silent manifesto that stands for freedom of values.
My body of work builds on the dichotomy between innocence and provocation. Largely a critique, it puts nudity on a pedestal as the essence, the pure, the untampered with, and points a finger at those who use it to appear edgy.
The photos were initially taken to produce a limited run of t-shirts, as a nod to Vivienne Westwood’s “Tits T-shirt”.
I pitched “Boobs #1 Tee” to all the usual t-shirt makers until I finally found one through friends who agreed to print a female bust.
The difficulty of this process was a perfect example of the absurdity of nudity.
