Originally a series of elaborately produced diamond dusts, Boobs #1 and #2 also feature on Limited Edition t shirt runs. I pitched the idea to several t-shirt makers until I found one who was willing to print a female torso.

The whole experience was very revealing and worked alongside what the piece expresses: The fact that nudity gets so much pushback is silly and absurd. I want to make fun of that. I also want to make fun of artists that take advantage of this, that use nudity for this primary reason: It will provide their work with instant “edgyness” and attention. In this way, my torsos are a parody of themselves.

To me, nudity is essence, purity, innocence, and those are the energies I express and explore.
